I read the "New ModelA Builders Guide". In the pistons section it says that they used the EGGE E1104-4 Pistons in the engineering and evaluation motor. I also saw that they mention the Silv-O-Lite solid skirt pistons as well as many others. What it did not say is why I would choose one over the other. I would think that I would want to use the pistons used for engineering and evaluation. What are the opinions on this and the reasons? I will plan to use my Model A regularly for car shows and events. Drives will mostly be a couple of hours or less but would love to be able to go on a long tour.
